Biographical Information:
Ms. Carolyn Amrit Knaus, B.S.,
M.S., L.M.T., C.F.E.T., C.F.E.P., O.D.
Founder of the Order (Oeema)
I AM hoping, by the Divine grace
of initiating the Order of Divinity that this humble effort, will
expand into a global spiritual order consecrated to the Divine
within our own Great Selves. The Order is devoted to the
universal Divine Heart, as well as practices of the Heart, to
universal Mysticism and to planetary social change causes.
I was ordained to the Ministry of
Agape Fellowship Center, a non-profit Religious Corporation in
New Orleans, Louisiana on Jan. 27, ’91. The ministers ordained
through Agape are dedicated to the unique expression of their own
sacred labor, as guided through their own soul inspiration.
All of my life, I have felt drawn
to dedicate myself primarily to the life of a Mystic in pursuit
of union with my Highest Divine Self and to universal mystical
truth found in many paths. At various time in my life, I have
been a spiritual practitioner and seeker within Catholicism,
Christianity, Sikhism, Hinduism, Native American and European
Earth–based religions, the Master &/or Teacher-based paths, as
well as within the Path of the Goddess/the Feminine Divine
Principle.
I always express untold gratitude
for all these constant sources of tremendous inspiration and
profound wisdom that I have taken refuge in. Any spark of
Divinity upheld within myself is because of the untold sacrifices
and dedication of all the teachers and practitioners within these
traditions, along with the sacrifices of my dear parents who saw
to it that I was raised in a very spiritual environment. I humbly
acknowledge the DIVINE within all these teachers and traditions
and within my parents, my first teachers, and for all that was
given for my sake. I am in humble gratitude also to the constant
inspiration received from the Creation of the earth and all
earth’s living creatures, which have so often bestowed on me a
profound sense of the Divine Presence. By Divine Will, may I
practice what I have been given and ask for compassion for what I
have not practiced.
I have a B. S. in Education and an
alternative M.S. in Organizational/ Group Behavior. I am a Family
Effectiveness Trainer and a Stens Corp-Trained Biofeedback
Practitioner. I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist and a
Certified Flower Essence Therapy Practitioner.
Most of my life, I have been
working in the fields of social change, communications, emotional
growth work and wellness in the U.S. In all my sacred labor, I
have supported social justice causes relative to oppression based
on economics, gender, race, sexual preference, disability, age,
nationality, or ethnicity.
I have been a Change and
Communication Specialist about 30 years, at different times in my
life, doing thousands of individual personal growth sessions
and hundreds of workshops, support groups and classes on
women’s issues, men’s issues, communications, parenting,
self-empowerment, abuse and powerlessness, addiction and
powerlessness, and social oppression, as well as ,
facilitation and group process skills. Teaching peer-support
skills has been a great part of this effort. I have taught Family
Effectiveness Training Workshops. I have likewise done hundreds
of individual healing sessions using the modalities of
Wellness/Lifestyle Profiles, Massage Therapy, Biofeedback and/or
Flower Essence Therapy.
I developed and directed a
Hospital Wellness Center for two and a half years in which some
of the above modalities were practiced.
I am now a Transformational Life
Coach doing individual sessions and workshops which integrate
universal mystical Spirituality with the above mentioned
psychological techniques and healing modalities. My practice also
includes guided imagery and creative ceremonies and rituals for
change.
I have a heartfelt calling to
build and create a universal spiritual order for this new
millennium, as a harbinger for the future consciousness expansion
of Planet Earth and all her people!!!!!
