Values of the Order:
◊ Devoted to the Universal Divine Heart that embraces all humanity
and is the Unifier of all paths
◊ Dedication to respect and honor all spiritual traditions that
hold many universal devotions and truths (For example,
Earth-based paths, Master-based paths, Teacher-based paths and a
path based on an individual’s unique spiritual expression….)
◊ Dedicated to the tolerance of individual choice in spiritual
practice and path
◊ Dedicated to earth consciousness and the balance of the planet’s
ecology out of love for the feminine aspect of Divinity through
as many ecological practices as is possible
◊ Dedicated to a life of abundance or simplicity, through
possessing only the basics in a beautiful/artistic way and/or by
being an abundant custodian of much that continually gives and
receives for the good of humanity.
◊ Dedicated to kindness to all humanity, all living creatures and
to the earth through a consciousness of harmlessness. This value
is expressed by the practice of vegetarianism based on what level
of involvement one chooses in the network. Vegetarianism is
described in the Order as the practice of eating fruits,
vegetables, grains, legumes and dairy according to one’s
choosing. The practice of harmlessness is also practiced through
non-violence to all living creatures. We do not assume that those
who do these above practices are necessarily “holier” than those
who do not choose these practices.
◊ Devoted to social change around the planet, that brings forth
more equality to all citizens of Planet earth
◊ Dedicated to one’s own particular sacred labor the manifests
universal values and needs for the 21st century
◊ Dedicated to a deep connecting support of all members of the
Order as sisters and brothers who foster strong psychological and
spiritual friendships… Order members may choose to have a soul
mate committed marriages based on Spirit with the understanding
that the Divine and spiritual friendships often become one’s
lasting connections.
◊ Devoted to keeping one’s body, emotions, will and consciousness
nurtured, aware and alert, in order that the inner peace, bliss,
spiritual inspiration and zest of our divine selves, may manifest
in our temples unimpeded by drugs, alcohol or tobacco… We work on
eating organic whole foods as much as it is possible. We yearn
for a lifestyle that seeks permanent oneness with the Divine as a
natural & innate state of consciousness and emphasize natural
practices and actions to realize that goal. We are very aware
that one who does choose to consume drugs, alcohol or tobacco
past, present or future, is in no way necessarily” less holy”
than one who choose not to consume them.
◊ Dedicated to working on one’s own psychology as an important path
to spiritual growth….Those seeking Order membership are open to
learning practical ways to manifest Heart and respect of others
in daily life. Peer support counseling skills, community building
skills and egalitarian group process skills are shared in the
“Mystic Heart” Notes as spiritual practices of the Heart.
◊ Dedicated to the development of spiritual qualities as true
realizations of Divinity; therefore, “special powers”, although
they can be gifts from the Divine, are not seen necessarily as
indicators of spiritual holiness.
